Project Life | 02

Week 2Spread

I'm sharing a second spread with you this week in order to get caught up and ready to share Project Life | 03 early next week. Is it okay to say that I love this week's pages much better than last week's?

(Apparently, the trick is to fill your days with puppy walks, photography clients, office changes, Saturday night nachos, and Sunday morning brunches. All the while taking photos of each moment, far more than you think you'd need.)

My favorite photo this week?  The black and white of Trevor and Miesha makes me smile so hard. Apparently, I've been living with two models for the past month.

I wasn't lying when I told you that our Miesha girl had an entire page dedicated to her this week. Okay, she may also be on the right hand side of this spread, too.

This week our girl took her first (and second!) walks around the neighborhood and even got her nails trimmed. We're still arguing with Trevor over whether or not her tiny nails should be painted. Clearly, I vote yes. Miesha is undecided.

Somehow this week's layout included not only more photos than the last but more journaling as well.

Over the past few months, more and more opportunities have been opening for me in this new city and many have included the chance to be behind a camera. This week, I shot my first paid product photography session for a great new company. So, I included a photo from the session and journaled about it, too. I also made it a point to snap a group photo at brunch this weekend, between quiche and mimosas, and to also include some notes about what I'm doing at work.

The details: Design A Photo Pocket Pages. Weekly title card from Caylee Grey. All of the photos (well, all but one) were taken on my iPhone and edited with VSCO Cam and the Afterlight app. Photo captions were printed on vellum and attached using standard staples.

  1. Okay, so captions on vellum is pretty much my favourite thing ever. Is that Bebas ? It looks fantastic. I adore your two weeks. Can't wait for more.

    1. Thank you for the sweet words. It IS Bebas! I'm trying to keep font's consistent.. at least by the month or maybe the season. I simply can't decide. I have to credit Tracy ( for the vellum idea, though I'm not cool enough to own a tiny attacher. Yet.
